Collections
Collections help you group related products together, making it easier for customers to browse and discover items on your storefront. Follow the steps below to add a new collection from your seller panel.
Steps to Add a New Collection
1. Log in to your Mystore seller dashboard.
2. From the left sidebar, click on “Products”.
3. Under the Products section, select “Collections”.
4. On the top-right corner of the left panel, click on the “Add New” button.
5. A form will now appear on the right panel titled Add. Fill in the required details as described below:
Fields in the Collection Form
- Name: Enter the name of the collection. (Required)
- Alias: Optional field to provide an alternate reference name or slug.
- Images: You can upload one or more images for the collection.
- Click Add Record to upload and add a caption if needed.
- Click on 'Insert Image' Button
- Description: Use this field to add a brief summary or description of the collection. Supports rich text formatting.
- Publish: Check this box to make the collection visible on the storefront.
- Sort Order: Enter a number to define the display order of this collection among others. Lower numbers appear first.
- Parent: If this collection should be nested under another collection, search and select the parent collection here.
Metafields Section
- Use as Facet: Enable this if you want the collection to be used as a filter in product search.
- Brochure: You can upload a brochure file related to the collection.
- Show on Frontend: Enable this if you want the collection to be displayed publicly on the site.
Final Step
Once you have filled all necessary fields, click the “Submit” button on the top-right corner of the form.
After submission, your collection will be added and visible (if published) on the storefront.
