Deductions & Adjustments
This section explains the different charges and adjustments that may be applied to a seller’s settlement.
Commission Deduction
Explanation:
- A predefined percentage is charged by buyer apps.
- Automatically deducted from each transaction before payout.
- The deduction is visible under the “Commission” column in reports.
Return Deduction
When applied:
- When a buyer returns a product and the return is approved.
Scenarios:
- If the item is returned in a sellable condition, restocking may apply.
- If not, the cost is borne by the seller.
- In some buyer apps, shipping costs may also be adjusted.
These deductions appear with reference to the original order ID.
Shipping Charge Breakdown
Breakdown includes:
- Forward shipping charge (from seller to buyer)
- Return shipping charge (from buyer to seller)
- Packaging charge (if applicable)
Sellers may be charged these fees based on the return status and logistic partner involvement.
How to view:
- Go to Payment Reports → Select an order → View Deductions
