Coupon Codes
This guide will walk you through the different fields in the coupon code section to help you set up and manage your discount codes effectively.

Coupon Code List
When you view your list of coupon codes, each code will have its own row with the following actions:
- Edit: Modify the coupon details.
- Delete: Remove the coupon code entirely.
Create or Edit Coupon Code
Fields Overview
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Coupon code | The unique code that customers will use to claim the discount (e.g., "SUMMER2025"). This is case-insensitive. |
| Name | The name of the coupon for internal reference (e.g., "Summer Sale"). |
| Description | A brief description of the coupon's purpose (e.g., "Save 10% on all products"). |
| Type | Select the discount type.

| Amount | Enter the value of the discount. For flat discounts, enter a fixed amount (e.g., ₹100). For percentage-based discounts, enter the percentage (e.g., 10 for 10%). |
| Enabled | Check this box to activate the coupon code. Uncheck it to deactivate the code. |
Advanced Settings
Click the Show advanced settings checkbox to reveal additional fields for more customization.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Conditions | Define specific conditions for the coupon to be applied (e.g., customer group, product category). |
| Maximum discount | Set a cap for how much the coupon can discount (e.g., ₹500). This is the maximum discount that can be applied even if the total discount exceeds it. |
| Maximum usage | Set a limit for how many times the coupon can be used by all customers combined. |
| Maximum usage per user | Limit how many times each individual customer can use the coupon. |
| Start date | Specify the date and time when the coupon becomes valid. |
| End date | Set the date and time when the coupon will expire and no longer be valid. |
| Number of times used | Track the number of times the coupon has been used by customers. |
| Substore | Select a specific substore or category (e.g., “helo”) if the coupon applies to specific stores or product types. |
| Level | Define the level of priority for the coupon. Higher levels are given higher priority. |
| Priority | Set the coupon’s priority. Higher priority coupons will be applied before lower priority ones if multiple coupons are used. |
Save and Apply
Once you've filled in the details and reviewed your settings:
- Submit: To save and apply the coupon code.
- Cancel: To discard any changes and exit without saving.
